CyberHound and Victorian Principals Association confirm Partnership

The Victorian Principals Association (VPA) represents the professional interests of principals in Victorian primary schools. Today the organisation is a network of school leaders with a focus on the wellbeing of colleagues ensuring they are connected, united and empowered.

The VPA provides a range of key services and support for leaders in Victorian government primary schools.

CyberHound is Australia’s leading provider of complete internet management solutions to schools. CyberHound offers a simple and easy to use cybersecurity solution that has been designed specifically for schools. Unique functionality includes cybersafety features that help prevent cyberbullying and can detect behavioural risks among students, including self harm and predatory approaches. Additionally, the solution helps teachers in class easily manage the internet – putting control back in their hands and reducing complexity and frustration.

CyberHound has been working closely with Victorian schools for over a decade and over the last year has rapidly grown its investment in the region in line with the growth in school clients.

CyberHound has created a special package for Victorian government primary schools. This package includes all of the key filtering, security and Cybersafety features, backed up by a fully managed service. This means that once CyberHound has set up the service, its professional support team then manages it for the school. This frees up the time taken by IT or non-IT staff in managing filtering, reporting and other online issues.

State primary schools have a growing need to focus on Cybersafety and reliable filtering. CyberHound is the expert company in these fields and will offer a lot of value to our members. We also believe this will help Principals by saving them time in managing IT and online issues.”

John Fison, CEO of CyberHound said: “This is a very strategic partnership for us. We have developed a unique solution for Victorian government primary schools to address the increasing challenges they face in managing internet use and cybersafety. We have also developed a commercially attractive package for schools to enable them to benefit from all of our features and support, including a fully managed service.”

CyberHound will be participating in several key VPA events over the years and is looking forward to working with VPA members over the coming years.

This partnership builds on other partnerships in Victoria including the Australian Principals Federation, Alannah and Madeline Foundation, NSIP, ThinkUKnow and other independent school bodies.
