Best Learning Apps for Kids Under 5

There are thousands of apps that will help kids adapt to the digital world as well as give them real-life skills. Here are 4 of my favourites for kids under 5 (available in Australia).

ABC continues to nail it when it comes to content and tools to help children learn across a variety of areas. ABC Kids Playhas a unique collection of games and activities for preschoolers brought to you by the ABC. Featuring games from our most trusted and loved brands such as Play School, Giggle & Hoot and Bananas in Pyjamas. Ages 5 and under

I love this game! It uses three simple components for learning letters; tap, trace, and write. In the first mode, children tap on the end of the letter and watch the app draw the letter. Then they use their own finger to trace the letter thus teaching them the correct way to write! Ages 5 and under

Mad Labs is for kids who have trouble understanding the difference between a noun, verb, and adjective. In addition to the standard word game, kids can share their stories through email and get hints for silly words to add to their story. Ages 4+

Super Why! helps your child achieve the power to read with this collection of four SUPER WHY interactive literacy games. Ages 5 and under

If you know of any other great learning apps available for kids under 5, please comment!
