CSA National Business Conference
2018-10-31 - 2018-11-01
We are pleased to announce our Platinum sponsorship of the biennial Christian Schools National Business Conference held at Novotel Brighton Beach Sydney. This conference will be hosted over two days and will provide an important opportunity for those involved in the business of running Christian schools to come together for fellowship and high quality professional development.
Our CTO, Adam Smith, will be delivering a Digital Workshop (Thursday at 1:15pm, 3A) around Artificial Intelligence and the future of Schools and Classrooms. The session will delve into some of these cutting-edge technologies, explore how they will impact the broader school community and identify some of the digital challenges that schools will have to navigate as well as look at the vital role data will play in driving the future of education.
What will the classroom of tomorrow look like? Will robots be delivering lessons or are they just an expensive gimmick? What are the technologies that will transform the way curriculum is delivered and received, and what capabilities will schools require to successfully integrate these new technologies? These are just some of the questions facing school executive teams in an effort to prepare for rapidly changing learning environments.
Emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and the Internet of Things will create massive opportunities for schools in transforming the education experience. Schools are already connecting chronically ill students with their classrooms using robot avatars, facial recognition technology is being used to improve student engagement, and smart devices are helping to make schools more efficient. These exciting advances also present complex challenges.
We’ll also have our stand there both on the Wednesday and Thursday, so stop by for a demo or more information on how we can support your school’s increasing digital requirements, and of course, giveaways!
