SID 2019

Safer Internet, Together

Safer Internet Day (SID) is a worldwide event, initiated by the Office of the eSafety Commissioner, which aims to raise awareness about internet safety while empowering individuals of all ages and communities through effective use of skills and tools to help create a more positive online experience.

SID 2019 will be held globally on Tuesday 5th February, with over 130 countries set to join in to create a safer internet, together.

It takes time to develop responsible digital citizens and we all must constantly build on our skills to ensure we are helping to create a better internet for everyone. The team at Safer Internet Day would like to refer people to their 4 R’s to assist…

RESPECT – I treat myself and others the way I like to be treated.
RESPONSIBILITY – I am accountable for my actions and I take a stand when I feel something is wrong.
REASONING – I question what is real.
RESILIENCE – I get back up from tough situations.

At CyberHound, we are committed to enhancing student wellbeing through better visibility and evidence to help protect students and enable timely support for those in need.

Together with our parent company, Superloop, and thier fast, reliable and secure internet offering, we are able to offer a better internet, together.

We also are very pleased to be able to offer resources to help individuals stay safe online with our information on secure passwords and data security for schools. Please download your free copy of these resources below:
