IP Blacklists

What is a spam IP blacklist?

A list of IP addresses that have known to be the source of spam.

An IP address maybe added to a blacklist even if the sender was not aware they were sending spam. This can happen if a computer is infected with a virus that is then used to send spam, often called a ‘zombie’.

I have been blacklisted, what do I do?

If you have been blacklisted by the CyberHound, go to http://mxtoolbox.com/blacklists.aspx and enter your IP address to see why it has been blacklisted, and how to remove your IP address.

For more information on the CyberHound blacklist, see the on line help ID: 996002.
